Cold rolled (CR / CRCA) sheet and coil reaches buyers from two kinds of producer.

Which to specify
- If your customer or drawing names an approved mill, specify primary CR from that mill.
- For exposed panels and enclosures where surface finish is judged visually, primary CR is the usual choice.
- For deep-drawn parts, specify the IS 513 grade (CR2–CR5) — the grade matters more than the route, but confirm the source can certify it.
- For tube making, general fabrication and narrow-strip applications, re-rolled CR is widely used where it meets the grade and tolerance required.
State "primary" or "re-rolled acceptable" in the enquiry. It is one line, and it changes the source and the price.
