ZAM (Zinc-Aluminium-Magnesium) Sheets & Coils
MRP Enterprises supplies zinc-aluminium-magnesium (ZAM) coated sheets and coils for solar mounting structures, cable trays, electrical and HVAC components, and outdoor fabrication. Requirements are quoted against coating designation, substrate grade, thickness, size and producer preference.
Where a structure has been designed and validated on a specific producer's ZAM product, state the producer in the enquiry.

Why buyers specify ZAM
ZAM adds aluminium and magnesium to the zinc coating. For a given coating mass it typically gives better corrosion resistance than conventional galvanizing, including at cut edges and punched holes — the reason it is specified for parts that are slit, punched or cut after coating. Substitution
ZAM is increasingly written into solar and electrical specifications as a replacement for post-fabrication hot-dip galvanizing or heavy GI. A substitution in either direction should be approved against the design and the coating mass specified — see the GP vs GL vs ZAM guide.
Magnelis, PosMAC, Magsure — are they the same?
These are producers' names for zinc-aluminium-magnesium coatings: Magnelis (AM/NS India), PosMAC (POSCO) and Magsure (JSW). Tata Steel and Dongkuk also supply ZAM. They share the principle — magnesium and aluminium added to the zinc bath — but coating chemistry, coating classes and producer test data differ.
