SAILMA — High-strength structural plates
SAILMA is SAIL's family of high-strength structural plates, designated by minimum yield strength — SAILMA 350, 410 and 450, for example. It is specified where a design needs more strength than standard E250 plate, typically for heavy fabrication, bridges, cranes and earthmoving equipment.

What to specify for HR plates
- Grade, quality and standard — for example IS 2062 E350BR
- Thickness and plate size (width × length), or cut sizes with a cutting list
- Quantity — number of plates or MT
- Heat-treatment condition, if specified (for example normalised)
- Certification — MTC type and any third-party inspection
- Producer preference, if mandated by the client or consultant
- Delivery location
